Chinese Elm is a beautiful, light brown hardwood with a creamy sapwood accent. It is very dense and so is a bit heavier than other boards of this size. The blue resin has some white pearl highlights for a striking, swirly effect.
Chinese Elm is a commonly grown ornamental tree in both Phoenix and Houston. This particular tree was taken down in Mesa, Arizona during a home remodeling project. Instead of being hauled off to a landfill and lost forever, this beautiful wood can grace your table and serve your food for years to come.
