This is a solid Edge-grain cutting board big enough to handle your brisket, prime rib or that big head of cabbage you want to turn into coleslaw. Made from hard Maple and Walnut with accents of tropical Purpleheart.
Like all my cutting boards it is finished with an oil finish to resist water or contaminate penetration. A wipe-down with soapy water and a quick rinse is all you need to do after using it. Please don't soak it in water or put in the dishwasher.
When the finish begins to wear, as it will if you use it like you should, simply coat it with plain mineral oil, let it penetrate and wipe off the excess.
