Maple, Walnut & Purpleheart Cutting Board

This is a solid Edge-grain cutting board perfect for daily use. Made from hard Maple and Walnut with accents of tropical Purpleheart. It can easily be hung in a convenient place in the kitchen so you just grab it and get to work. 

We've had two boards just like this one in our kitchen for the last 18-20 years. We use them every single day and they are still in great shape. Ours hang right by the sink for easy access.

Like all my cutting boards it is finished with an oil/wax finish to resist water or contaminate penetration. A wipe-down with soapy water and a quick rinse is all you need to do after using it. Please don't soak it in water or put in the dishwasher, it is made from wood, after all.

When the finish begins to wear, as it will if you use it like you should, simply coat it with plain mineral oil or Howard's Butcher Block Conditioner, let it penetrate and wipe off the excess. A 2oz. bottle is included with the board.
