This beautiful accent table was created from a Mesquite slab and translucent wine colored epoxy. The completely unique base is made from the trunk of a Crepe Myrtle tree. I will never be able to replicate this base! It is the natural, branching section from the base of a 20' tall Crepe Myrtle we had to take out at our house here in Houston. The Mesquite slab for the top came from a tree that was downed during a monsoon in central Phoenix 7 or 8 years ago.
The table top is finished with a food safe hard wax oil finish which is then protected even more with a ceramic wood coating to resist scratches and liquid spills. The base has a satin sheen polyurethane coating.
5 of the 7 "legs" have stainless steel/nylon levelers so it will always be steady and level.
Just under 2' in diameter and 23 1/2" tall. The top itself is 1 1/2" thick
Weighs about 38 lb.
