A solid Edge-grain cutting board that's just the right size for daily use. Made from hard Maple and Walnut with accents of tropical Purpleheart. It can easily be hung in a convenient place in the kitchen so you just grab it and get to work.
Like all my cutting boards it is finished with an oil/wax finish to resist water or contaminate penetration. A wipe-down with soapy water and a quick rinse is all you need to do after using it. If you want it to last, don't soak it in water or put in the dishwasher.
When the finish begins to wear, as it will if you use it like you should, simply coat it with plain mineral oil or Howard's Butcher Block Conditioner, let it penetrate and wipe off the excess. A 2oz. bottle is included with the board.
