Willow Acacia Edge Grain Cutting Board

This beautiful, heavy duty Cutting Board highlights the powerful grain patterns of Willow Acacia wood. This wood was harvested from a storm damaged Willow Acacia tree in Phoenix. The combing of both heart wood and sapwood gives this board its interesting light/dark patterns.

This board is big enough and solid enough for everything you need it for and beautiful enough just to use as a serving board. Maybe don't even cut on it at all. No, take that back, it is a cutting board so use it AND display it proudly.

Just give it a quick wipe down with warm soapy water and then a light towel dry after using and it's ready to go for next time. Please don't soak it in water or put in the dishwasher, it is made from wood, after all.

When the oil finish begins to wear, as it will if you use it like you should, you can simply coat it with plain mineral oil, let it penetrate and wipe off the excess. Or not. Wood is naturally anti-microbial and the oil finish just makes it look better and resist any splitting.
